Legal Document Courier Terms

Courier services are limited strictly to the physical pickup, transport, delivery, and/or retrieval of documents as provided and instructed by the Client.

Courier does not provide legal services, filing services, document preparation, document review, or advisory services of any kind.

Courier does not determine filing requirements, calculate deadlines, correct deficiencies, ensure acceptance, or assume responsibility for the legal effect of any document.

All responsibility for:

• Document content
• Filing decisions
• Deadlines
• Acceptance or rejection by any court or agency 

remains solely with the Client.

Documents are transported exactly as provided by the Client. Courier does not open, review, modify, verify, or assess documents for completeness, accuracy, or legal sufficiency.

Courier assumes no responsibility for errors, omissions, or deficiencies contained within the documents.

Proof of delivery is provided for all completed courier services and confirms completion of the courier task.

Proof of delivery does not constitute confirmation of filing, acceptance, or processing by any receiving office. 

Courier services are scheduled in advance based on destination, timing, and availability. Same-day or priority service may be available but is not guaranteed unless confirmed at booking.

Courier is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Office closures
• Weather
• Traffic conditions
• Government processing times
• Actions or policies of receiving offices

Courier service requests may be canceled or rescheduled prior to dispatch. Once a courier run has been dispatched or is in progress, the service is non-refundable.

Fees are quoted based on delivery details and must be agreed upon prior to service. Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking.

Client is responsible for:

• Providing accurate delivery instructions
• Ensuring documents are prepared and ready for transport
• Confirming destination requirements
• Providing access for pickup and delivery

Courier is not responsible for failed delivery due to incorrect or incomplete instructions.

Courier’s liability is limited solely to the performance of the courier service as described. Courier is not liable for:

• Consequential or indirect damages
• Legal outcomes
• Missed deadlines
• Rejected filings
• Losses arising from document content

Liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the courier service.

Courier agrees to handle all documents discreetly and to maintain confidentiality consistent with professional courier handling. This obligation does not extend to document content beyond physical custody. 

Courier operates as an independent service provider and is not an employee, agent, or representative of the Client. 

By scheduling or authorizing courier services, Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Agreement.
