The notarization is conducted by secure video conference. During the session, the signer presents the required identification on camera and signs the document while the notarization is witnessed in real time.

After notarization, your completed document is either returned to you or sent directly to the designated recipient, based on your instructions.

Appointments may be scheduled within 24–48 hours of request, subject to availability. Total turnaround is typically 2–4 business days from the video appointment to delivery of the completed notarized document.
To complete a Remote Ink Notarization, each signer must present two (2) valid government-issued forms of identification, one of which must include both a photograph and signature, and provide supporting documents that reasonably establish identity, such as a utility bill, mortgage or loan record, voter identification documentation, or a major credit reporting agency report.
No special or expensive software is required. A camera-enabled device and a strong, reliable internet connection are required. Sessions are conducted via standard video conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Webex. Uninterrupted access is necessary to complete the session.

Remote notarization pricing reflects the additional technology, recording storage requirements, identity verification process, and shipping coordination involved in the service.
Alabama law requires us to maintain the video recording for seven years for legal compliance and protection.
Tracked or insured shipping methods are recommended. Once a document is released to a mail or delivery carrier, responsibility for transit rests with the carrier. I am not responsible for loss, delay, or damage that occurs during mailing. If a document is lost, the ability to replace or re-notarize it depends on the type of document and the requirements of the receiving office, court, lender, or agency.
Yes. As long as you sign the document on camera during our video call, someone else can mail it to us on your behalf.
Yes. Communication during the video session must be in English to comply with Alabama requirements.
